The best experience ever. My friends and I make a bee line when the Fair 1st opens to reserve our places for High Tea at 4. They even had no problem accommodating my new dietary needs as a vegan. Plus it was delicious! There are a couple of quick entertainments and you get a lovely 2 cup tea pot to take home.
I’ve been going for so long that I’ve collected every color and possibly have more than 1 of the same color.
In the past I would trade my teapot for a 3 cup 1 and pay a little more for it. I plan to get the trivets to match 1 day but you can trade your tea pot for either a tea spoon or a cute little ornament. I chose the teaspoon but I may purchase something else as well next year.
This is totally worth it and the wait staff are always amazing! ❤

Usually not a problem getting on the list for the same day and I was SO HAPPY that last time they were able to accommodate vegan. It’s part of the tradition of the Fair for us and a visit just wouldn’t be complete without it. As with many things, I notice they’ve realized the popularity and that they could seat more people and cut corners with a scaled down, long table format. It’s still a fun experience even with the long tables and seated with other patrons.
